Before the 1990's signs were generally hand painted and sprayed. In the 1990's and early 2000's, with the advent of commercial grade vinyl, signs were mostly made from computer cut vinyl, digitally printed vinyl or printed banner. The last few years has seen the introduction of flat bed printers. The material being printed is placed on a flat bed and glides under the print head whilst the printer applies the image. The advancement in inks has allowed us to produce printed signs that will withstand the Australian climatic conditions.
